This FODMAP reduction plan covers an initial 28 day meal plan. Once completed you will move on to an additional 28 days of food therapy where you are asked to reintroducing high and medium FODMAP foods to test for intolerances.
Why do we take this course of action?
A wide range of foods contain what are now scientifically referred to as FODMAPS.
These substances are carbohydrates which are known to cause uncomfortable digestive symptoms that can lead some people into autoimmune reactions.
Sufferers are often confronted with a range of symptoms such as stomach pain, bloating, gas and the breakdown of the stomach lining.
Some fodmap foods contain as little a one single fodmap component. However, many foods can contain several of these inflammation promoting carbohydrates.
Listed below are the four main dietary sources currently considered to be FODMAPs.
Lactose-containing dairy products make up the majority of disaccharide containing foods. Milk, soft cheese and yoghurt are the main offenders.
Fructose is the main carbohydrate in the monosaccharide group.
Several fruits including mangoes and figs are implicated. The news doesn’t get any better for those with a sweet tooth, because many natural sweeteners favoured by the natural health community, such as Agave nectar and Honey, also contain monosaccharides.
The really annoying thing about oligosaccharides is that some fruits and veggies contain them.
Wheat, rye, legumes also contain oligosaccharides but it isn;t difficult to cut those out! The insanely unfair thing is that two of the healthiest foods on this planet, garlic and onions, also contain Oligosaccharides.
Certain fruits and vegetables including blackberries and lychee, as well as some low-calorie sweeteners like those in sugar-free gum.
Faced with these stark choices people are often left asking the question…What can we eat?”
The low FODMAP diet is here to easily answer your anguished query in the most honest, easy to do and fun way possible.
Please remember, this is a low FODMAP diet! Not a FODMAP free diet.
The principal reason for choosing a low FODMAP diet is to see how your body responds to the changes in your allergies and autoimmunity and then to build out into other foods you can eat.
An Autoimmune Paleo (AIP) diet is an anti-inflammatory diet which may be helpful in managing autoimmune conditions.
AIP diets contain foods known, or thought to be, least reactive to people with sensitive immune systems. These foods are almost always natural whole foods which contain no gluten and low levels of lipopolysaccharides, carrageenan and other substances known to negatively impact the gut membrane and immune system.
During our 28-day paleo Reset programme, you will be encouraged to eliminate some of the following foods groups considered to be irritant to the gut and damaging to general health.

The AIP diet will not only provide you with diet suggestions and recipes you’ll also receive a structured schedule for meals times which tells you when to eat and also provides healthy snacks suggestions.
You are expected to tailor your requirements within this schedule so you get the optimum nutrition for your level of physical requirements or disease needs.

AIP Tuna Salad
Makes 2 servings
316 kcal; 1322 kJ; 31 g protein; 16 g carbohydrates; 13 g net carbs; 3 g dietary fiber; 10 g total sugars; 0 g added sugars; 15 g total fat; 2 g saturated fat;
- 1 BPA-free can light tuna in water (not oil), drained
- 1/2 small apple, chopped into small squares
- 1 small carrot, peeled and chopped into thin slices
- 1/2 celery stalk, chopped
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
- 1 teaspoon dill
- In a medium bowl mix together drained tuna, apple, carrot, celery, olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs.
- Mix together with a fork until well mixed.
- Taste the mixture and if desired, add more herbs and spices or olive oil for more flavor.
- Serve over your favorite salad or on a sandwich and enjoy!

Our app will help you to track your exercise results remotely by linking up to your apple fitness device or Fitbit! Now imagine being able to track all of your vitals and output against how you feel and what foods caused these changes! Cross reference this data against your physical weight and body composition measurements and you’ll have a gold mine of information to draw on.
Positive reinforcement like that is worth more than gold because it keeps you engaged, motivated and almost guarantees you get the best from the program and your health.
We even have an elimination section in the app where you can record the results of your diet on your stomach and digestion. Yep, that’s right. You even get to record how your poop improved along with the changes you made. This may seem odd or disgusting but we need to move past that thinking and understand that most of our autoimmune problems come from some form of gut involvement.

Once you receive your invitation to download the app you’ll be sent a confirmation code which once activated will start your coaching program.
You can decide when you want your program to start, but once you start you will not be able to tp put the program on hold.
