Spinach and Apples  combine to make a sweet edged green base whilst the Cucumber smooths and cools. The Carrot then jumps in there to give the green juice a full on sugary boost. Lemon and Ginger pack the final punch and leave you breathless with beautiful zingy flavour….Perfect!

Carrots contain high levels of the antioxidant  beta-carotene.,naturally occuring free radicals are mopped up by beta carotene,which helps to prevent cellular damage and slow down the aging.

Celery is full of  important minerals that neutralize acidity and  balance the body’s pH.

Cucumber hydrates and soothes the skin but it can rid you of bad breath too! Press a slice of cucumber to the roof of your mouth with your tongue  and the phytochemcials  in Cucumber will do battle with the bacteria in your mouth,destroying them and bad odours.

Ginger  helps with production of gastric and pancreatic enzymes which boost the effectiveness of essential nutrients in the diet.

You will need….


1 handful of spinach

2 granny smith apples

2 celery sticks

1 cucumber

1 Carrot

1/2 lemon

1/2 inch cube of ginger

 Method of preperation


Juice the vegetables in the above order in any kind of juicer or blender you may like and pour straight into a glass or pour into a glass over ice.

If you use a blender you may want to sieve the juice before drinking or if you enjoy the pulp then drink that too,Fibre is an amazing detox tool that binds to toxins in the gut and helps clear out the heavy metals and toxins our bodies try to eliminate through our gut.
